Battery
life.
· Reduced air consumption due to lower dwell requirements.
· Trigger programmable dwell, debounce, and eye modes.

, AKA will be shipping new Vikings and Excaliburs with the Equalizer board.

The Equalizer board has the ability to accept a custom anti-chop eye system developed by Wicked Air Sportz. AKA and their distributors will be working on approved methods of performing aftermarket installation of the anti-chop eye system. Currently, AKA will not be manufacturing markers with eyes from the factory, but the bodies will be drilled to accept the eyes.

Wicked Air Sportz will warranty, maintain, and take all technical questions regarding the Equalizers functionality and installation via their technical support department and public forums. AKA will provide documentation on disk and on-line for new markers.

"Worr Game Products has announced: "Autococker®" and "Cocker®" are both trademarks registered at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and owned by WGP Inc. The use of either term without written consent from WGP is prohibited. Only markers that use authentic and genuine bodies manufactured by WGP may bear the trademarks "Cocker®" and "Autococker®". http://www.worr.com.

*Also from APG: "Teens/Players/Heros. All three words describe paintball players Todd Ball and Matt Johnson, of Akron. The pair drove to a Wal-Mart at 3am last month to return a marker, but noticed en route that a building along the road was on fire. Seeing that no one was outside of the burning apartment unit, the boys stopped and banged on doors to wake the unaware tenants. They got all of the tenants out of the building as the roof  began to collapse from the fire, and shortly thereafter the fire department arrived to control the scene."

*I received an e-mail from another top Scenario Game Producer, Kerry "Viper" Rosenberry,  last week. Viper is the Scenario Director for Viper Paintball Scenarios. You can see their site here: www.viperpaintball.com.

*All of us have our negative stories about a product or company or field. I just wanted to show some love to a couple companies that have treated the customer right. Tippmannn allowed me to send back my old 98, even though the 1 year warranty was up,  to get checked out. They didn't charge me one cent.

A few weeks ago I was walking off the field when I noticed my Ricochet was hanging about 1/2 way off my marker. It had cracked down one side of the feed neck. This was one of their original hoppers before the o-ring upgrade on the neck. I have had it since they came out. I e-mailed them and within one week I had a new casing. Thanx to both of you for taking care of your customers!

*Here's a press release from Steven Deam of Action Markers: "Action Markers is pleased to announce their new web site at www.actionmarkers.com! We have moved our web design in-house meaning that we will now have updates almost every day. Also new, by popular request, we now sell directly off of the website. You can come and look at all of the great products that we make and sell right in the comfort of your own home.

You will also notice that we will have special sales on www.actionmarkers.com that arent available anywhere else! Check back at the site often to see what is new and exciting in the world of paintball

We are also striving to make this a web site that gives you what you want. Feel free to send us any feedback that you may have. Tell us what you like or dont like, let us know what other products you would like us to carry. If there is anything that you would like to see on the site, let us know. We will be changing the site continually based on your feedback. You can contact us at info@actionmarkers.com.  Or give us a call at 866-478-2255."

*From APG: "Gemini System, from G-Force, is an upgrade available for Autococker markers that lowers the operating pressure to as little as 15psi. According to company info. The unit is being introduced at Skyball 2003."

"Viewloader Quantam. Clear 9-volt 140 ball motorized hopper from Viewloader at a nice price. It has a cool looking ball agitator and a new design for the neck feed for a good fit on different feed neck sizes. The Quantum has fed well in tests. The motor runs whenever the switch is on. Slightly smaller profile than the Viewloader Revolution or the eVLution II."

*Just a few new links were added this week. Be sure to look on the right to check out the links to some of the top NXL Teams.

*Micheal "Joe" Seiverling has been working on our http://paintballpics2.tripod.com web site. I believe he has got the thumbnails up for the 02' ICC State (Outlaw pics) & some pics we received of the Paintball Valley/Wayne Dollack "Final Fantacies" Sceanrio Game from last year. Unfortunately since the club & team members that showed up helped ref the event, no pictures were taken by us. Scott Matlock, board member of PBT, manager of BPS & team member of the Sewer Rats Black, provided us with a handful of pics. Last week, I unfortunately got word that Gary Bartels, owner of VBR/PV & BPS, lost all of his undeveloped pics from the Dollack event he had when they were ran through an X-ray machine at the airport. How unfortunate.

*ICC Pre-Event Info!: The ICC has set up a discounted hotel rate of $60 for ICC teams and sponsors at the Corydon Holiday Inn.  The hotel features an indoor pool and hot tub, as well as a continental breakfast which will be open early Sunday for the ICC.

To receive the ICC discount, contact the Holiday Inn at 812-738-1623.  Ask for the ICC discount.  The group confirmation number is 678790018.  If you have any troubles, ask to speak with Linda (she's the one who set up the discount).  We have a guaranteed block of 20 rooms and have requested more (they're going fast!).

Reservations must be made by March 1st to receive the discount.  The ICC event is March 16 at Underground Paintball.

*Did you know that Team Strange will be representing the USA this year? Paintball.com will tell ya': http://paintball.com/features/story.cfm?placementID=1880&aid=1406&clickon=DB

*Interesting suggestion from APG: "LONG BARRELS Are good on sup' air fields for working the bunkers to your advantage. While it is generally considered that any barrel over 12" is unnecessary, it is a good tactic on sup' air fields to use an uber-barrel of 14" (ask Bob Long!). When working your bunker, push the barrel sideways into the bunker; notice how the bunker gives, and your body can remain more behind the bunker while you are still able to shoot out of it? The longer, say 14", barrel, the more of the bunker you can compress and the tighter you can play!"

*Also from APG!: "TAG WARGAMES In Grenada and Pomare, New Zealand, are reportedly open 24 hours a day and log more than 200 players a week!"

*B-Town is happy to announce the addition of Steve "Gador" Dickens, Charlie Dix & Andy Strouse to the 2nd Outlaws team. They may have also picked up Micheal & RJ Bohnert. Though things have yet to be confirmed.

*From APG!: "REPORTING About eBay & paintball, eBay itself says, Paintball was the #37 searched word on eBay in December 2002. There were more than 400,000 key word searches for "paintball." Paintball ranked ahead of such well known brands, products and performers as Eminem, Nikon, Porsche, Beatles, Gamecube, and Fendi." Like a teammate of mine said, paintball and the internet just belong together.

*New links were added! Have a great week everyone!
