*AKA Press Release
Wicked Air Sportz has announced the release of their Equalizer series of marker electronics for AKAs Viking and Excalibur. This AKA approved board is a drop-in replacement and will not require any modifications to the marker. The Equalizer has been approved by AKA, and will not void the warranty of your Viking or Excalibur. The Equalizer will be available as an aftermarket upgrade directly from Wicked Air Sportz.
Here are just a few of the features offered with the Equalizer:
· Support for custom anti-chop eye system. · Improved Battery life. · Reduced air consumption due to lower dwell requirements. · Trigger programmable dwell, debounce, and eye modes. · Rate of fire limited only by pneumatic cycle rate when used with anti-chop eye system (currently exceeds 35 cps in dry fire tests). · Rate of fire cap without the anti-chop eye system programmable from 10 bps to 30 bps. · Compatible with the older Mac solenoids and new Humphrey solenoids. · Hopper/Warpfeed trigger output with programmable trigger duration and polarity. · Compatible with Wicked Air Sportzs Equalink cable. · Free software upgrades (requires Equalink) via the Internet. · Lifetime warranty.
The Equalink is not the same programming cable being used with the current AKA electronics. The Equalink is a cable that works with all products produced by Wicked Air Sportz, and its software is compatible with all versions of the Windows operating system.
Effective May 1, 2003, AKA will be shipping new Vikings and Excaliburs with the Equalizer board.
The Equalizer board has the ability to accept a custom anti-chop eye system developed by Wicked Air Sportz. AKA and their distributors will be working on approved methods of performing aftermarket installation of the anti-chop eye system. Currently, AKA will not be manufacturing markers with eyes from the factory, but the bodies will be drilled to accept the eyes.
Wicked Air Sportz will warranty, maintain, and take all technical questions regarding the Equalizers functionality and installation via their technical support department and public forums. AKA will provide documentation on disk and on-line for new markers.
For additional information go to the Wicked Air Sportz website at: www.wickedairsportz.com.
