Bea Young & Mike Paxton on Fear Factor?!

This is awesome! We were both chosen to move on to the 2nd interview!!! We got a CALLBACK (Which is a big deal since there were 3000 people lined up outside to get one of the 120 spots to get on the show to move on to the next level!)...
THANKS TO THOSE OF YOU WHO REALLY HELPED BY PRAYING OR THINKING THOSE "POSITIVE THOUGHTS" FOR US!
We got there at 2:30PM and the line was already 3 blocks long!! Mike didn't want to wait in line for that long, but after I threw a tantrum in public, he agreed to stay if I'd stop being a brat!
We finally got to the entrance of the Hard Rock Cafe at 5:30 PM. They let about 40 people in at a time. They had 6 tables situated around the rock-n-roll-filled-decor-restaurant. There were 8 people to a table. We had 6 minutes to talk about ourselves and amongst ourselves with a moderator clsely watching for the few he would choose to move on to the next level!
What did we say? Well, that we played paintball for a living and that sparked his attention! He wasn't suppose to talk, but he asked the question, "You guys make money off this?!" and we said, "NO, not really. That's why we're here... to earn $50,000!" And everyone in our group chuckled! =)
The other people in our group were a bit quiet compared to us, we talked non-stop until I felt bad that noone else was getting a word in edgewise! Then the 6 minutes were up and BEN, our moderator and judge, pulled Mike and I aside and said that we were moving on!
We got our CALL BACK sheet and we are to report to LA again on Saturday at Noon, which means we'll be missing out of Paintball Practice and a Photo Shoot I was suppose to do on Saturday, but we can move it to Sunday, no problem! For national exposure for not only our sake, but the sake of paintball, and to also possibly win $50K, that'll hold us over for a good year of doing nothing but playing pball and traveling the world doing so!
CONTINUE THE PRAYERS AND/OR MANTRAS along with those "HAPPY & POSITIVE" THOUGHTS! IT's DEFINITELY WORKING!
We ARE (HOPEFULLY) GOING TO BE ON FEAR FACTOR, BABY!!!!!  WOOO HOO!
Again, be thinking of us this Saturday at 12 NOON and the entire day. The interview is suppose to last for two hours!!!
THANKS PAINTBALL FAMILY and FRIENDS and see you from the boob tube on NBC HOPEFULLY! We are one step closer!
Sincerely,
Mike Paxson and Bea Youngs

The 2nd interview went well! We feel confident that we had a good interview that took 10 minutes to complete and we were filmed during the meeting! They simply asked about how we met, about what we do for a living (which is paintball!), why we want to do this show, why we think we are the pefect candidates, and of course, what scares me the most!
What did I say about what scares me the most?! Rabbits, I fear rabbits! No, just kidding, but I did say eating a slug or roach! =) I had to be honest and maybe they'll think I am joking because of the whole "reverse psyschology" method, but maybe not! But, I will tell you this, if they do have that where I have to touch something moving with my mouth and/or eat it, I'LL DO IT because I won't want to let myself down or all of you!
Now the Fear Factor producers want us to send in a 5-minute videotape of both Mike and I saying why we would be good candidates for the Couples Fear Factor Show and to exude our personalities... we were thinking of doing something with us playing paintball and being in our paintball gear, etc., maybe even playing against another 2-man team.
We don't know if we are on the show yet, but after we submit our tape, they will let us know within the next 5 months. The show is to air between September 2003 and January 2004. With that said, continue to hope for us and I will post something on the website as a reminder!!! (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT, TOO!).
Sincerely,
Mike -n- Bea
